The roots date back to the early 18th century. Back then, in Engel, near Oberwesel, Nikolaus Schneider cultivated a small vineyard, a world of dedication. From this site grew more than just a winery, it also held a promise for future generations. Ludwig Schneider took the business to Boppard, where the Rhine and the vines merge, and later added a winery to produce spirits of unrivalled purity. Otto-Josef expanded the plantings, and Michael Schneider took over in 2004 with a clear vision. Today, the plantings cover nine hectares, and future generations continue with determination. This legacy is not a burden, but a source of pride, a bond that connects past and future.
